Hallo!

Es gibt ein paar Sachen, die du über diesen Blog und auch über mich wissen sollst. Ich werde mal mit mir anfangen.

Ich bin Sternenklar. Nein, das ist nicht wirklich mein Name, aber ich bevorzuge diesen. Ich wurde am 19. April 1995 geboren, in einer niederländischen Stadt namens Wageningen, wo auch meine Eltern zur Uni gegangen sind und mein älterer Bruder ebenfalls geboren wurde. Ich werde die Stadt, in der ich jetzt wohne, nicht beim Namen nennen (für alle Klugscheißer da draußen, sie ist nicht Wageningen) aber ich versichere dir, sie ist eine schöne Stadt.

Ich bin ungefähr 1 m 69 groß und im Moment des Schreibens wiege ich um die 54 Kilo. Dazu bin ich ein Rotschopf, das heißt, meine Haare haben eine Möhren-Farbe (oder eine Kupferfarbe…) und wenn draußen kalt ist, sind meine Wangen quasi genauso gefärbt. Ich trage eine Brille und meine Augen sind bläulich grau.

Das wären die Formalitäten, jetzt die interessanteren Sachen über mich. Es gibt im Grunde ein paar Sachen, die mein ganzes Leben bilden. Die erste ist das Schreiben, Teil des Grundes dafür, dass ich das jetzt hier online stelle. Zweitens, das Denken, ebenfalls Teil des Grundes. Ich halte mich für eine dieser Leute, die zu viel denken, und daher bin ich nicht wirklich gesprächig, wo es meine Gedanken betrifft - ich besorge einem noch Kopfschmerzen. Wobei man in einem Blog einfach vorbei scrollen kann, was die meisten jetzt wahrscheinlich machen.

Die dritte Sache ist die Musik. Ich spiele die Bassgitarre (zwar nicht gut, denn ich habe erst vor einem Jahr damit angefangen) und ich hatte auch mal Klavierunterricht. Dazu höre ich fürs Leben gern Musik, meine Lieblingsbands kannst du in meinem Profil nachlesen. Ich werde dich nicht mit der ganzen Liste langweilen; ich bin zwar ein Fan vom Lesen, aber das geht mir auch ein bisschen zu weit.

Also, das ist’s so ungefähr. Das bin ich. Schreiben, Denken und Musik. Und natürlich Träumen, weswegen dieser Blog ja auch „Regenbogenträume“ heißt. Ich liebe Regenbögen. Liebe, wie die es immer schaffen, einen nach einem langen grauen Regentag zum Lächeln zu bringen. Und ich bin ja eine Träumerin, also da hast du den Titel.

Was du jetzt über diesen Blog noch weiter wissen sollst, ist, dass ich es in zwei verschiedenen Sprachen schreiben werde. Nicht um anzugeben (oder vielleicht ein bisschen), sondern weil meine Gedanken öfters auf Deutsch oder auf Englisch sind als auf Niederländisch. Und weil dieser Blog sich ja dem Spaghetti meiner Gedanken widmet... Du verstehst ja schon.

Ich werde dich jetzt in Ruhe lassen und wünsche dir viel Spaß, sei es mit dem Vorbei-Scrollen, dem wirklichen Lesen oder dem Auf-das-rote-Kreuz-rechtsoben-Klicken.

To everyone / someone / anyone reading this.

Hello!

There are a few things you need to know about this blog and, more acutely, about me. I shall start with me.

I am “Sternenklar”, which means something like “bright enough to be able to see the stars”. Of course it’s not my real name, but I prefer to be called this. I was born on the 19th of April, 1995, in a Dutch city called Wageningen, which is where my parents went to university, and where my older brother was born as well. I shall not name the city I live in now (for those smart-asses out there, it’s obviously not Wageningen) but let me assure you, it’s a beautiful city. I am about 1 meter 68 in height and at the point of writing this, weigh around 54 kilos. Also, I’m a redhead, meaning my hair has the colour of carrots (or copper…), and in the cold I have matching cheeks. I wear glasses and my eyes are a slightly bluish grey.

Well, so much for the formalities. Now to the more interesting things. There are a few things, actually, that pretty much make up my life. First thing is writing, which is part of the reason for this blog. Secondly, there’s thinking, which is another part of the reason. Since I consider myself one of those people who think too much, I am not very talkative when it comes to expressing those thoughts out loud - people might get headaches. Whereas in a blog, they can just scroll past, as most of them are probably doing now.

Third part of my life is music. I play bass guitar (not very well, since I only started about a year ago) and I have played the piano. Also, I’m a fervent listener-to-music and you’ll find my favourite bands when you click the “Mein Profil vollständig anzeigen” button, at the top left of this page. I shall not bore you with the list here, I’m a fan of reading myself but that might be a bit overdone.

So that’s basically me. Writing, thinking, music. And dreaming, which is why this blog is called “Regenbogenträume”. For those German-noobs out there, it means “Rainbow Dreams”. I love rainbows. Love how they put a smile on your face after a long, depressing, rainy day. And I’m a dreamer. So there you go.

The next thing you need to know is about this blog; I’ll be writing it in more languages than one. This is not to show off (or maybe a little) but because my thoughts are more often than not in German or English, rather than in Dutch. And since this blog is dedicated to the spaghetti of my thoughts... You get the point.
